Abstract

Syaifullah Ardi. NIM: 160100749. LEAN DISTRIBUTION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI LOADING DAN UNLOADING DI PT CARAKA YASA. Tugas Akhir, Jakarta: Politeknik APP Jakarta. September 2020.

Lean Distribution adalah sebuah panduan untuk menilai praktek-praktek dan paradigma distribusi yang sedang berjalan guna menghasilkan fleksibilitas yang lebih besar dan biaya yang lebih rendah, lean bekerja untuk memperbaiki secara sistematis parameter-parameter yang mendorong kinerja pada seluruh rantai pasokan daripada melakukan tindakan independent berguna untuk memperbaiki biaya departemen, tingkat pelayanan dan persediaan. Tugas akhir ini memiliki tujuan menganalisis alur proses pengiriman di PT Caraka Yasa serta memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi waste. Penelitian ini mengutamakan pada jenis barang atau dokumen dari PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia. Penelitian dan pengumpulan data dilakukan di PT Caraka Yasa. Data yang diperlukan berupa data alur proses kegiatan pengiriman barang atau dokumen dari PT Caraka Yasa sampai dengan ke konsumen. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan analisis alur proses pengiriman barang atau dokumen pada tugas akhir ini yaitu metode Lean Distribution untuk meningkatkan efisiensi Loading dan Unloading di PT Caraka Yasa. Hal pertama yang dilakukan dalam analisis Lean Distribution yaitu membuat Big Picture Mapping kemudian membuat Process Activity Mapping dilanjutkan dengan Identifikasi 7 Waste kemudian menhitung nilai Process Cycle Efficiency. Dari analisa menggunakan metode Process Cycle Efficiency analisis, nilai Process Cycle Efficiency sebesar 36% naik sebesar 38%, untuk nilai VA yang awalnya 285 menit tidak terjadi perubahan tetapi untuk nilai NNVA terdapat perubahan yaitu dari 470 menit turun menjadi 465 menit, untuk nilai NVA sebesar 30 menit menjadi 0 menit, dan untuk nilai total waktu siklus sebesar 785 menit turun menjadi 750 menit.
