Abstract

Uhlidi Mutaqin NIM : 180202076. LAPORAN MAGANG INDUSTRI PADA PT. TRANS SAMUDERA MARITIM. Tugas Akhir, Jakarta : Politeknik APP Jakarta, Mei 2021

Tujuan utama dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan melaporkan kegiatan impor pada PT Trans Samudera Maritim, salah satu perusahaan nasional yang bergerak dibidang freight forwarding dan logistik. Tugas akhir ini dibuat dengan metode observasi kerja harian, dengan pengamatan yang dilakukan selama 4 bulan magang industri. Kegiatan magang industri dilakukan pada divisi Customer Service Import Unit. Pekerjaan yang dilakukan adalah mencari customer via email dan facebook group import, instagram dan whatsapp, memberikan penawaran harga dan kalkulasi pajak kepada customer, tracking container dan release Electronic Delivery Order (E-DO). Data yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir adalah data primer dari PT Trans Samudera Maritim, terutama dari Import Unit, termasuk dokumen – dokumen yang dipakai pada kegiatan import. Terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya perizinan yang perusahaan miliki solusinya mengurus perizinan impor yang belum lengkap, dan proses release Electronic Delivery Order (E-DO) yang telat dari pihak shipping line solusinya melakukan pembayaran secepatnya untuk menghindari terlambat release E-DO.

This final assignment is to identify and report on import activities at PT Trans Samudera Maritim, the national companies engaged in freight forwarding and logistics. This final assignment was made using the daily work observation method, with observations made during 4 months of industrial internship. Activities are carried out in the Customer Service Import Unit division. The work has done was searching for customers via email and importing facebook groups, instagram, whatsapp, providing customers with price quotes and tax calculations, tracking containers and Electronic Delivery Order (E-DO) releases. The data used in the final assignment is primary data from PT Trans Samudera Maritim, especially from the Import Unit, including documents used in import activities. There are several obstacles such as the lack of permits that the company has the solution to take care of incomplete import permits, and the late Electronic Delivery Order (E-DO) release process from the shipping line to complete the payment to avoid delays in the E-DO release.
