Abstract

Novita Sriwahyuni. NIM: 190202634. Laporan Proses Penyelesaian Masalah Layanan Pengiriman Ekspor Industrial Project Menggunakan Metode NPA pada PT DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia. Laporan Tugas Akhir, Jakarta: Politeknik APP Jakarta. Juli 2022.

Ketatnya persaingan industri freight forwarding, menuntut setiap perusahaan untuk berlomba-lomba dalam memberikan layanan pengiriman ekspor-impor yang berkualitas dan tanpa hambatan. Laporan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan bagaimana penyelesaian masalah layanan pengiriman ekspor untuk barang industrial project (IP) menggunakan metode NPA pada PT DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia (DGF Indonesia). DGF merupakan perusahan yang bergerak dalam bidang freight forwarding. Data yang digunakan untuk menyusun laporan ini merupakan hasil observasi di DGF Indonesia pada divisi Business Processing Organisation, hasil wawancara staff yang terkait dalam penerapan metode NPA untuk layanan ekspor IP dan studi literatur. Proses penyelesaian masalah yang terjadi akan menggunakan metode 5 Why Analysis untuk menemukan akar masalah dan merumuskan aksi perbaikan yang sesuai untuk memaksimalkan perbaikan kualitas layanan yang dilakukan oleh DGF Indonesia. Masalah yang diselesaikan diantaranya keluhan pelanggan atas lamanya penerimaan informasi tentang jadwal pengiriman yang disebabkan oleh perubahan quotation sebab tidak ditemukannya schedule yang sesuai dengan permintaan pada liner terpilih karena perubahan pada published schedule akibat dari delay pada port sebelumnya. Masalah selanjutnya adalah keterlambatan sampainya barang ke tujuan pengiriman (shipment delay) yang disebabkan oleh perubahan pada Port of Discharge akibat dari fasilitas port yang tidak mumpuni untuk melakukan proses bongkar muat karena barang overheight. Aksi perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan penambahan proses kerja dalam SOP, perbaikan pada quotation dan perbaikan kerja sama antara pihak terkait.
